What about Barbecuing and Campfires?
All cottages have their own gas BBQ and firepit. Firewood can be purchased on grounds.

Do you have ice for sale?
Ice can also be purchased on the grounds.

I would like to go fishing when I come. Where can I get bait?
Worms can also be purchased on the grounds, but if you prefer minnows or other live baits, we can give you directions to  the local bait shops, only 5 min away.

I would like to bring my boat up, is there a charge for docking?
There is a charge of $40 per week or $8 per day for docking space should you bring your own boat.

What about children, is there lots for them to do?
We have a children's playground, complete with swings, and slide, a games room and of course shuffleboard, badminton, and ping pong.

What about bed sheets, or linen. Do we need to bring any?
Beds are provided with pillows, blankets and a bedspread. Linen can be supplied on request at $8.00 per bed, per week or portion of a week.

I always forget something, can you tell us some items we should put on our list.

Here are some things we recommend you bring

• dish cloth, dish soap and towels for dishwashing
• toilet paper (please we ask that you only use 1 ply paper, thanks)
• aluminum foil for baking or barbecue
• insect repellent

What time do we check in and out?    
Check-in time is at 4pm on Saturday
Check-out time is at 10 am on Saturday

What if we decide to have extra guests, is there an additional charge?
In an effort to ensure our customers have access to our facilities, there is a charge of $5.00 per day for day guests and $20.00 per night for overnight guests.
All guests must register at the office upon arrival. Overnight guests must be approved by management in advance.

Will you need a deposit?   
From our web site you can easily make a reservation using our online form, but to confirm your reservation a deposit must be received by GlenVale within 10 Days from your booking to hold your reservation.
Visa is accepted.
Deposits will not be returned for booking cancelled with 60 days of the start of your reservation.
Minimum deposits at the time of booking to hold your reservation are:
$175.00 for an apartment for each week
$250.00 for a cottage for each week

I have a dog, can I bring him?
Unfortunately for the protection of our guests, we do not accept animal pets.

We love cooking and bbq' but we might like to go out to dinner one night, do you have any good restaurants in the area?
We have lots of fine dining, and can recommend some fine dining for you at your request.
